LINIS COLOCOL Activity Promotes Environmental Stewardship and Community Empowerment

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya - On February 21, 2025, at 7:00 a.m., the National Irrigation Administration-Nueva Vizcaya Irrigation Management Office (NIA-NVIMO) conducted a clean-up drive in collaboration with the Provincial Government through the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO), and in partnership with the Nueva Vizcaya State University-College of Forestry and Environment Resources Management (NVSU-CFERM). The "LINIS COLOCOL Activity" took place in the barangays of Vista Alegre, Don Tomas Maddela, Don Mariano Perez, and San Nicolas.

The activity sought to empower students and community members by inspiring them to discover their potential and actively contribute to the community. Participants displayed a deep commitment to environmental responsibility and community engagement beyond the walls of their school.

This joint effort promoted sustainable practices and strengthened bonds among local government units (LGUs), educational institutions, and community members. The undertaking not only addressed immediate environmental concerns but also fostered leadership, teamwork, and meaningful community contributions.

The LINIS COLOCOL Activity highlights the power of various sectors working together to create a cleaner and greener Nueva Vizcaya. NVIMO and its partners continue to pave the way for a sustainable future that benefits present and future generations.
