PEÑABLANCA, Cagayan—The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Regional Office 2 joined the Kick-Off Ceremony of the Fire Prevention Month spearheaded by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) led by FSINSP Noverlyn M. Caoile yesterday.
The theme "Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-Iisa," reminds us that fire prevention is a collective effort. It’s about working together, as a community, to ensure safety for everyone. Highlights of the program include motorcade from Brgy. Alimannao to Nanguilattan followed by program at Brgy. Quibal. The public is encouraged to familiarize themselves with the different fire safety techniques and protocols to help prevent fire.
Present at the event were the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), Hon. Mayor Washington M. Taguinod, along with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine National Police (PNP), Barangay and LGU officials, and employees.
