On February 13, 2025, an inspection was carried out on two ongoing contracts within the Colocol Integrated National Irrigation System (NIS) in Nueva Vizcaya.
The first contract, funded under the GAA CY 2023, is being executed by the joint venture of EGB Construction Corp. and R.O. Builders and Development Corp. under contract number NCB-RO2-NV01-23. The second project, located in the Gannib Area, involves the Construction of a Solar Powered Pump Irrigation System, funded under the GAA CY 2024, and is being managed by FEDSTAR Builders, Inc. under contract number NCB-RO2-NV01-24.

The activity was in response to the previous georesistivity survey results that indicated the absence of sufficient groundwater sources in the area. As a result, the team shifted its focus to identifying viable surface water sources for the planned solar-powered irrigation systems.
